Maid of Honor- Courtney
My sister, not by blood, but by life and close friendship. Just as important to me as my own sister and my future sister-in-laws, but this gal is perhaps even more wonderful because she chose to stand by me years ago, unlike my poor sister who was stuck with me by birth :) But seriously Courtney is a blessing in my life and she doesn't hear that often enough. She will be wearing an tangelo Alfred Angelo dress with fuchsia trimmings.
Bridesmaid- Lisa
Yet another wonderful gal. (of course, they all are) Lisa is Dj's sister who just got married a few years ago. She is always full of wonderful advice. I'm so lucky to have gained 2 sisters through Dj. Lisa's hubsand will also be a groomsman. Lisa is expecting her second child and will be wearing a fuchsia Alfred Angelo maternity dress. Did I mention Lisa is one beautiful mommy? (well, she is!)
Bridesmaid- Samantha
My younger sister, Samantha. I am really excited for her dress in particular because it will have a few details that match mine. Also It was important to me to choose a dress for her that is beautiful but modest, as she is my little sister. She will be wearing a gorgeous Alfred Angelo Dress in Fuchsia with kiwi accents.
Bridesmaid- Stacie
Dj's sister-in-law. She's a great gal and another beautiful mommy! I am very excited to have Stacie by my side. She is one of those gals who I really look up to. And again- I'm just not sure what I would do with out my future-sister-in-laws! They are always and awesome help. Stacie will be wearing a fuchsia Alfred Angelo dress with a cute little matching jacket!
Best Man- Geoff
One of Dj's best friends. These two are like brothers. Geoff is big into derby cars, and him and Dj are always tinkering in the garage together. If you had told me the first time I met Geoff that he would be the best man in my wedding, I would have ran away- But now I wouldn't have it any other way! Geoff is one of those guys that is just simply there through thick and thin.
Groomsman- Frank
Frank is DJ's brother-in-law, Lisa's husband. Frank and Lisa have always been there to support us and we really look up to them. We are a little afraid of the practical jokes they may pull though. For their wedding gift, we purchases 10 of the oxo utensils that Lisa had registered for and we wraped them all and scattered them in a box full of fortune cookies. Of course, there was also a homemade card that read: "May your life be blessed with good fortune all your days through. ps. You may have to dig a little to find all of what is in store for you" And we left one big spoon scoop right at the top for them to dig through the box. I hope we don't see too many of those cookies back!
Groomsman- Matthew
My youngest brother, Matthew. This kid is all boy but gives great big hugs. I love my little brother and couldn't imagine getting married with out him up there by us.
Groomsman- Jason "Fuzz"
Jason is DJ's older brother and Stacie's husband. Jason and his wife are such great people, and we feel so blessed to have them both by our side. Dj's older siblings and their families really show us how to live our lives and we hope that one day our family is as beautiful as theirs is. Jason and the rest of the groomsman will be wearing black tuxs with pink vests.
Usher- Jeremy
For our wedding, we wanted to have a "brothers & sisters" theme of sorts, as the bridesmaids and groomsmen are all siblings. But there were just a few gentlemen we knew we wanted to have involved. These guys are our ushers and we couldn't be happier. Jeremy and Dj have been roommates for the past two years, and they went to the same high school together. The title of their radio show says it all. They are the Big J & D show. :)
Usher- Jess
Jess and Kyle are basically a pair. Can't have one with out the other. Jess and DJ have been best of friends since they were young and Jess's girlfriend, Amy, is now one of my best friends. These guys are always up to something, but they always mean well.
Usher- Kyle
When we were planning the wedding, Dj knew who he wanted as his best man and groomsman, but he said "what about Kyle, Jess and Jeremy" We are so happy that they are able to be ushers in the wedding. They are such a big part of our lives. Kyle and the other usher will wear black tuxes with either pink or lime green vests.
