The Proposal

DJ put a lot of thought, planning, and love into his proposal.  My ring was my Grandmother's, and the ring that I have wanted as my wedding set since I was just a little girl.  I can remember staring at it as a child always thinking how pretty it was.  Its beautiful to think with out the proposal my Grandfather made that I would not be here, and what now in years to come will come of the family Dj and I will have together.  Such a lucky gal I am to be with this man who understands the importance of this to me!

Dj got down on one knee, eerrr snowshoe, on January 10th, 2010 (my 20th birthday!) at 2am, can you believe that?  He had thought for a long time how to make this absolutely perfect.  And it was!  We both enjoy being outdoors, particularly snowshoeing, and the sky was so beautifully this night with the moon glistening on the snow.  The ground looked like an endless sheet of white glitter.  It was absolutely perfect. (except for those whom I woke out of bed at about 3am!)
