Wedding Pie and Petit Fours

My wonderful Aunt Liz is prepared to help me with this task (did I mention wonderful??!?!?!)  Dj and I really aren't cake people (and don't tell me that Petit Fours are just cakes anyhow- because they are CUTE cakes. totally different, mmmk?)

So we plan to make 3 different types of pie: strawberry rhubarb (my favorite) with a latice crust, cherry with a latice crust and a rasberry glace.  Can you say heaven?  DJ and I love pie and my aunt is the best of all pie makers.

We will also be serving plates with one orange and one pink petit four and one chocolate ganache covered brownie.  We will use a little lime green detailing on the brownies and white detailing on the petit fours. 

We are very excited about our dessert selections.  A little bit of everything right?  We hope that there is something for everyone.  We plan to make 30 pies (10 each with 6 slices per pie) and 180 each of the petit fours and brownies (read 360 petit fours).  Our calculations are based on 240 guests and 120 people taking one slice of pie and one sampling plate and the rest of the people choosing either one type of pie or a sampling plate.
